Information for New Students

Welcome to SFA!  We are excited that you are here and can’t wait for the Fall to get here. 

Here are a few things that we want to make sure you know:

  • Come check us out during orientation!  We will have a table set up at the Religious Organizations Fair on each Sunday of Orientation from 3:50-4:50 pm in McKibben Room 131.  Stop by our table to say hi, to get more information about Crosspoint, and to get FREE STUFF!  

  • FREE MEAL ON SUNDAY NIGHT OF YOUR ORIENTATION!!! We want you and your family to join us for a FREE MEAL on Sunday of your orientation at 5:30 pm.  We will have food prepared for the first 200 people at Henderson Hall, which is across the street from Campus.  During that time we will be able to answer any questions that you might have and you can stick around for Crosspoint Worship Gathering at 7 pm.  Email Kyle if you would like to join us and include the date you will be here and how many people will be coming.

  •  In the Fall, there are several things that you need to be involved with!  Here are a few things we hope you plan on being a part of:

               Welcome Week Events- 

                   Friday, 8/22- 8 PM- Movie @ the Ag Pond- with Free Cane's Chicken!

                   Saturday, 8/23- 2-6 PM- Rec Center Cookout

                   Sunday, 8/24- 7 PM- Crosspoint Worship Gathering - Fall Kickoff

                   Tuesday, 8/26- 8 PM- Shawn McDonald LIVE IN CONCERT @ GBC

               CollegeLife- A class on Sunday Mornings specifically for Freshmen!

               Community Groups- Small groups specifically for & led by students

               Retreats- Coming in September- "Crosspoint Road Trip"- T Bar M Camp

               Mission Trips- every Winter and Spring break

               Free Meal- every Sunday night after Crosspoint, an amazing FREE meal!
