Statement of Purpose: The Four C's

Grace Bible Church of Nacogdoches exists to encourage and equip people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. We believe that fully devoted followers of Christ are:

Converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ

"I am an active participant in the worship at Grace."

The first measure of a fully devoted follower is that they have been converted to the gospel of Christ.  At Grace we proudly proclaim the message that Jesus Christ died on the cross in the place of sinful man and we deeply desire to see multitudes of people come to a saving faith in that message.  If you are already a Christian, great!  It's time to move on to the next stage of your spiritual growth.  If not, we'd love for you to learn more about a personal relationship with Christ through our activities or by allowing us to visit with you personally.

Connected with the body of Christ

"I am in relationships that challenge and encourage my walk with God."

The second navigational point after conversion is a vital connection to the body of Christ.  We see people at Grace getting involved with one another in honest relationships that spur them on toward love and good deeds.  Our hope is that you can be connected in such a way that you know others well and are known intimately by other believers that are contending for the gospel alongside you.

Committed to personal spiritual growth

"I am growing in my faith: in knowledge, intimacy with God, and application of His truth to my life."

A commitment to spiritual growth is crucial to a person's development in the Christian life.  This means developing a life that is a reflection of Christ by learning more about the Bible, growing in your prayer life, and in everything, applying what you learn so that your life changes for the better.

Contributing to the work of ministry through use of their spiritual gifts

"I am serving through the use of my abilities, time and resources."

Finally, it is our desire at Grace to see everyone contributing to the work of the ministry in the special way that God has designed them.  We believe that God has given all Christians special abilities and we want to ensure that you have an opportunity to use them.
